The Changing Ports

Ports: Pier 1

  1. Trend: Transportation purposes → Present: Tourist attractions

  2. Transition: Ferries → Tourist Attraction

  3. Future: Rising sea levels → Buoyant architecture

Skyscrapers

  • Skyscrapers were originally intended for single use, but now they are used for multiple purposes

  • Skyscrapers used to be much smaller, however now they are much larger (also known as vertical expansion)

Homebuyer Trends

We interviewed various home buyers from the past, present, and future: here’s what we found.

  • Many past home buyers bought a house in their thirties

  • Future home buyers would like to purchase a house in their late twenties
